I have been looking for cartoon creating for elementary for years. I was excited to find a blog called "20 Ways to use Comics in the Classroom" http://www.freetech4teachers.com/2009/10/20-ways-to-use-comics-in-your-classroom.html#
I am really excited to use these with my students.

Week 8, Thing 19
Google Earth is one of my favorite tools. We use this to check out where parents are when they are tdy. I flew to "Gus' Pretzels" in St. Louis, and the "Statue of Liberty". I think this tool is amazing for geography, but also research of countries, etc.
Week 8, Thing 18
I found this an interesting slideshare. Web 3.0? We haven't completely gotten our minds wrapped around Web 2.0.
Week 7, thing 17
I think podcasts are interesting to listen too. I found one called "GEEK!ED!" These people make me laugh, but have interesting points. http://coverpage.pcs.k12.mi.us/geeked/
I find it hard to keep up with weekly or daily podcasts.

Week 7 Thing 16
Computer history is always very abstract for students. This video is great!
This one looked interesting, but it is very choppy.
This one is good.

Week 6 Thing 15
I really like the storyboard tools. Creating a story board is critical and these tools make it "interesting" for students. I like the kidvid and Celtx. I am not finished with my video yet. I need to get another shot of the "dance".
I changed my mind on the video, This is how to log into Accelerated Reading and Math Facts in a Flash.
